Thanks, Andrew! I really did have fun trying to figure out Maya Merchandising. It’s interesting to me to see an entire business based on mail order when I’m used to seeing something like back issues as only one aspect for specialists now.

I really adored “It’s Only a Movie” – so much fun. And his “Future Visions” on SF cinema is still one of my most cherished books on the genre.

How lovely to read such a great investigation of the mail order scene of the time. This is why this blog stands out from others so wonderfully – I always gets a side-order or research and cultural context with it.

It was a terrific time to be getting “Starburst” and enjoying so many of the TV series that it was covering!
