Interesting to get your reactions to Tarrant. By the time of transmission, various magazines had referred to him joining the crew (along with bits of background); as such, I was never totally taken in by what was going on in his narrative, and I'm rather glad that you didn't have his sub-plot spoiled for the episode.

Similarly, I was aware that the Hi-Techs were the bad guys when the episode first went out. Months earlier when the series was filming in Yorkshire, "Look North" did a location report which revealed this plot twist.

You're right – all of a sudden Cally feels far better served here than she did in almost the whole of Series B.

And how lovely to know that other people enjoy Albert Elms' scores for "Man in a Suitcase". They're really quite brilliant aren't they?
