Another brilliant review, HE. I get quite caught up in your enjoyment of the episodes. So glad you have got past the earlier S4 episodes and are still going. There are some really, really good episodes coming up.

You wanted to see the crew change outfits. What did you think of the new gear? Not much of a respite from all the grey though, I grant you.

Jackie Pearce had a great time with Betty Marsden. Marsden kept getting her lines wrong and dropping the f-bomb, much to Jackie Pearce's delight. There's a bit of it on the blooper reels. The full name of her character is Onhj Verlis, which is an anagram of John Silver.

Richard Hurdall's appearance as Nebrox was noticed and got him the part playing the first Doctor in "The Five Doctors".

As you say, Soolin is very cool and smart. Some say that in this series Avon has taken on the Blake role, and so Soolin takes on more of the Avon role. Still, I can't see Avon just sitting down to think things through. Perhaps that's his problem. The only problem with Soolin is that being the new 'young lady with guns' she takes away from Dayna's role a bit, I think.
