I joined Trap One to chat about the new Doctor Who Season 15 Collection box set. I hadn’t seen most of Season 15 of Doctor Who before getting this bluray set, so I was really looking forward to getting to chat to everyone afterwards. It was the first opportunity I had had to talk to anyone about most of it.
I had been excited to finally see The Invisible Enemy, Image of the Fendahl and The Sun Makers in particular. I must admit I knew of Underworld‘s reputation, so it was more curiosity to see how deserved that was, and I went in with an open mind… It was interesting to hear how much everyone’s views varied on some aspects, especially for favourite and least favourites.
As well as the stories themselves, our chat covers some of the Season 15 Collection extras. We’ve given a deserved focus to Chris Chapman’s stunning documentary, Darkness and Light: The Life of Graham Williams. I was lucky enough to see this screened at the BFI, where it hugely impressed the audience and I raved to everyone I could while trying not to give away much. It really is an astoundingly good documentary, and I hope we manage to give listeners some insight into it.
